From February to September festivals like Mardi Gras and the Jazz &amp; Heritage Festival take over the town filling it with music, food, and fun times. <p>If you want to experience New Orleans beyond bourbon street and the popular festivals there is plenty to do. The rich history of New Orleans makes it a fantastic place to learn new things. Visitors can enjoy the National World War II museum, experience the world famous farmers market, or head out to Jackson Square and tour historic buildings. Ironically, these fantastic secret treasures of New Orleans are also free to do. You can travel beyond the famous and discover the infamous in this beautiful city if you just take the time to discover what it has to offer.</p>
<p>In addition to the culture and history, there are plenty of other things to do in New Orleans. Although it is not known for its outdoor life there are some beautiful spots in and around the city. One of the best is Lake Pontchartrain, which is actually a wetland but due to its size is considered a lake. The wetland covers about 630 square miles and only reaches about 12 to 14 feet in depth. It is a beautiful location to check out during the hot summer months in New Orleans, and is a perfect example of the natural beauty of Louisiana.</p>

<p>When doing this movement your form is vitally important if you do not want to develop an injury. The reason why they are only one of the best movements for your lower body is that they will improve muscle tone, your lower-body strength as well as your stability and your balance in general.</p>
<p>Although the main primary muscles that are emphasized when doing the dumbbell lunge. The length of the stride that you are able to do will be dependent on your flexibility. This exercise will mainly work on the glutes and the quadriceps but also your general strength at your core. Although your hamstrings will also get a good workout during lunges as mentioned above they are acting only as the secondary and stabilizing muscles rather than as the main muscles for this movement.</p>
<p>The execution of the dumbbell lunge has a very good alternative to it as well. Instead of moving your leg back you can lunge forward and how far you lunge forward will change the accent that is placed on your quads and hamstrings. This is a strong forward motion so you need to make sure that your knees never go past the point of your toes.</p>
<p>The lunge is what is known as a compound exercise because it uses more than one joint in your body to complete the movement. The closest relative to the lunge or the dumbbell lunge is the step-up which can also be done using dumbbells and is a great alternative to dumbbell lunges.</p>
<p>There is no doubt about it that doing dumbbell lunges will stress your hamstrings, but you should also make sure that you add a few other different exercises to your training program in order to give your hamstrings a good workout if your main goal is to develop the overall size and strength of your legs.</p>
<p>There are quite a few other exercises that are targeting the same or similar muscles to the dumbbell lunges mentioned above and they are: straight-leg deadlifts, good mornings, also glute-ham raises, as well as seated leg curls or standing leg curls, plus your largest stride dumbbell lunges or step-ups already mentioned.</p>

<p>High intensity interval training or HIIT has been conclusively proven to work in many different studies done across the world. Sports science has now proven that the only way to get decent results is by training with a high intensity. It has been shown that you need to train using HIIT for a maximum of 45 minutes and no more.</p>

It takes time and dedication to get larger muscles but it simply cannot be done without eating correctly.</p>
<p>Eating a ‘bad’ diet generally means that you are getting poor quality calories into your system. What that means is that you are eating simple sugar like fries and burgers which will raise your sugar levels, release too much insulin and make you store fat.</p>
<p>But worse is when you damage the muscle during an intense workout and your body is unable to find the required enzymes that it needs to repair the muscle. This will result in what many bodybuilders constantly keep a careful eye out for and that is over-training and reaching that dreaded plateau.</p>
<p>You will reach a plateau when you stop getting stronger no matter how hard you train because you simply do not have the required nutrients in your blood stream to fix the damage. Your body then goes into a self-protection mode where it makes sure that you stop any farther damage that you are causing.</p>
<p>So the answer to the question about whether you can exercise on a bad diet is that you can certainly exercise when you are eating incorrectly but it will eventually catch up with you. If it was that easy to gain muscle then everyone would have loads of muscle on them.</p>
<p>If you are currently training on a bad diet then you need to slowly teach yourself the required skills so that you can increase your productivity from those hard workouts that you do. The former Mississippi offensive and defensive lineman checks in at 6-foot-10-inches and weighs 403 pounds. The St. Louis Rams figure Brown is so big that he’s worth taking a chance at trying to develop into an NFL offensive lineman.</p>
<p>Brown played on both sides of the ball while at Ole Miss but was used sparingly. He may be best known for crushing a folding <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bHTfukmxAGM">chair</a> while sitting on the sidelines during a nationally televised game on ESPN. Last season, he played two games at offensive tackle and in 2011, he played eight games as a defensive tackle.</p>
<p>There were no Ole Miss players invited to the NFL Scouting Combine this year but in comparing Brown to those who attended, you will see just how big this guy is. His arms measure 38 inches long &#8211; more than two inches longer than any other offensive lineman. Brown’s wingspan? An amazing 92 inches. That’s seven and a half feet from hand-to-hand when his arms are outstretched.</p>
<p>At the Rebels’ Pro Day, Brown ran a 5.80-second 40-yard dash and recorded 22 repetitions with 225 pounds in the bench press. Not jaw-dropping numbers, but definitely adequate when compared to other offensive lineman entering this year’s draft.</p>
<p>Rams’ head coach Jeff Fisher decided to bring Terrell Brown in for a tryout. They worked him out on both sides of the ball and figured his best position would be right tackle. Rams’ offensive line coach says that he would love to have Brown. He’ll be a long shot to make the final 53-man roster, though.</p>
<p>Former Ole Miss offensive coordinator Mike Markuson says Brown is almost too big to play football. Markuson said that since Brown is so big, he has trouble bending down and getting low. Brown isn’t very flexible and has a hard time getting out of his stance. As a result, the behemoth lineman spent most of his days at Ole Miss on the bench.</p>
<p>If the Rams can work on Brown’s flexibility and develop him as a player, it’s possible he has a chance. If he were to make the Rams final roster, Terrell Brown would become the biggest player in the NFL.</p>

Firstly it was shown that most of the people who were now forced to deal with these chronic illnesses don’t eat very healthy foods and have very small or no breakfast without adequate fiber. The second is that they all had completely inadequate water consumption.</p>
<p>It was also found that most of these kinds of people had inadequate activity after supper or had a late dinner and straight to sleep. They also measured that they generally had an inadequate daily fiber intake or an inadequate daily vegetable intake.</p>
<p>The first tip is always about water which is so vital for the maintenance of health and vitality. Drinking 8 glasses of water a day will very adequately reverse athrosclerosis (hardening of the arteries due to plaque build-up). It seems that water can actually flush the arteries of plaque.</p>
<p>But water does more than that as it also expands blood vessels and makes arteries more elastic, which is essential for healthy hearts. Adequate hydration raises the metabolism and allows for stored fat to be burned more efficiently as well as slowing the heart rate, reducing blood pressures and reducing fluid retention. The bottom line is to drink enough water to make your urine clear and colorless all day. Limit your coffee, tea and pop to three cups a day.</p>
<p>The next is the preparation of your breakfast which should include at least four grams of fiber, which in turn reduces cholesterol and fat in the blood. Every 10 gram of cereal fiber reduces the risk of heart disease and diabetes by 30 per cent. But fiber also reduces the risk of cancer and diabetes.</p>
<p>Good sources of fiber are cereals, dried beans and lentils. Also make sure that you walk or do some activity within 30 minutes of eating breakfast. But you can do more by adding nuts and seeds to breakfast cereal and to have a whole piece of fruit as well. Whole wheat toast, a bagel or a bran muff is NOT a good source of fiber.</p>
<p>You probably have heard that diet saying which says “eat like a king in the morning a prince at midday and a pauper at night” meaning that your breakfast should be the heaviest, while lunch should be a little less, and supper even less than that.</p>
<p>Choose at least two different vegetables at lunch AND at supper. Eat a minimum of one cup of vegetables at each meal then eat the rest of your meal. Rice, potato and corn are starches and are NOT counted as vegetables and should NEVER be fried if you are trying to lose fat.</p>
<p>Eat a maximum of four ounces of meat, pork, chicken or fish a day and the last tip is to try and get into the habit of walking for 25 minutes every night after supper. The benefits of walking after supper compared to walking before supper are many. It can lower your blood sugar by 50 per cent, but best of all just adding the 25 minutes-walk described above, your body is burning calories the whole time you sleep.</p>
<p>Most North American (95 per cent) eat little through the day relative to their large meals and evening snacks. This raises the blood sugar really high before sleeping. Higher bedtime sugars directly create extra weight and extra cholesterol and lower anti-oxidants which help prevent cancer.</p>

<p>The muscle blitz routine is not a complicated or intricate routine it is plain and simple to understand. Firstly you need to understand a little of the nature of our muscles, why they grow, how they grow and how to induce continuous growth. As a beginner we all know that our muscles respond to the slightest bit of exertion.</p>
<p>The laborer fails to build healthy shapely muscles simply because his range of work is limited and non-progressive. Secondly and more important is that he doesn’t permit the muscles to rest sufficiently before work is begun again. Now you have a pretty good idea of how and why muscles grow. But one of the most perplexing problems to most bodybuilders is how to induce continuous muscular growth.</p>
<p>This is where the blitz routine comes to your rescue. With this method of exercising, you can build the size you have always dreamed of. You must first divorce your mind of all the ancient work theories. You must be willing to work hard, because the blitz routine is just that – Work and your reward will be well worth the effort.</p>
<p>Once completed the first 6 months of training with weights you will begin to see that you will start to reach your first plateau. You can increase the weight which will help to shock the muscle into growing again, but you will still find getting the muscle growth a lot tougher than it was in the beginning days.</p>
<p>It will take so much more exercise to stimulate your muscles than it did before. The reason for this reaction is the muscles have become accustomed to the severity of the workout. They have adjusted to the demand you have put to them.</p>
<p>In other words, they are waiting for the same old song and dance three times a week. This is when you throw in the shocker and muscle blitz the “hell” out of them. Shock them right out of their boredom. Force them to readjust to the severe demand.</p>
<p>Force them to grow and grow to become thicker and wider, to take this sudden load of work. Now to properly blitz them, you must select one, no more than two exercises for each body part and increase your sets to a minimum of 10 to 15 sets.</p>
<p>Make certain that you get at least eight hours sleep a night, preferably 10. Drink plenty of water try to get 2 grams of protein per pound of bodyweight you will need a good protein supplement to help you meet your protein needs in addition to your supplements, eat fish, meat, poultry, dairy, fruit and vegetable with this intensive routine you will need at least 4 grams of glutamine a day to hasten muscle recovery.</p>
<p>Now after this month of the blitz routine, you need to take a week rest and resume training at your normal pace. Again there is a shock to the muscles, but not the same as when you started the muscle blitz routine. The muscles are no longer accustomed to your regular workout for you have shocked it out.</p>
<p>Neither is it accustomed to the blitz routine because you haven’t done it long enough. Besides, you have rested a week permitting the muscles to fully rebuild and store up additional energy. After a few months of conventional training, you may resume the muscle blitz routine and start the cycle over again. Each time you do it much larger muscles will be yours.</p>
<p>The blitz routine is very severe and only well-conditioned muscles with plenty of reserve energy could take the pace. Keep in mind, the blitz routine is not a secret exercise or method, but a planned scientific way of intensified training for a short period of time.</p>
