Too Much Carbohydrates

Researchers believe that an excess of carbs increases the insulin in the body which can cause inflammation and breakouts in the skin. It is recommended that you have a diet balanced with high amounts of protein, whole grains, fruits, vegetables and carbs so that your insulin levels stay properly balanced.
Too Much Dairy
A research study published in the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology involving a polling of teenage and young adult men found that those who had two or more servings of dairy a day had a higher likelihood of a breakout that those who had dairy only occasionally. Dairy such as milk contain ingredients such as insulin growth factor 1 which can increase oil output in glands and clog the pores through changes in the natural hormone balance. If you eat or drink a lot of dairy and suffer from breakouts you might consider alternate products such as almond milk, soy based dairy products, etc.
