Sudden Acne Breakout In Adult How Treat Treatments

Causes of Adult Acne BreakoutsCauses of sudden adult acne breakouts. You expect acne when you’re a teenager; it is practically a hallmark of growing up along with the awkward gangly phase and the desire to “find yourself”. However, as you wave goodbye to those awkward teen years you’d think that acne wouldn’t be a problem anymore, but sadly this isn’t always the case. Adult acne is a common problem for both men and women for years, even up into middle age and oftentimes the onset of a breakout can be attributed to certain causes that bring the problem to the forefront. Take a look at these 3 causes of adult acne breakouts that might be the reason you just can’t seem to break free of the ever present pimples on your face and body.

Top Causes of sudden Adult Acne breakout and How to Beat It

Too Much Stress

Many people are grossly uninformed of the negative health effects that stress can have on the body. Stress in healthy amounts help to provide the natural response such as “fight or flight”, but in unhealthy amounts it can cause hormone imbalances in the body that can wreak havoc with your skin. The hormones such as glucocorticoids and adrenal androgens can cause oil glands and to begin over producing as well as clog the pores on your skin. The best way to fight this is to incorporate stress relieving practices into your daily routine such as taking a walk outside to clear your head or using menial tasks to help you distract your mind.

Too Much Carbohydrates

Everybody know that a diet in excessive carbohydrates can cause you to gain weight, but did you know that they can also cause acne as well? One research study found that of two groups of men that had been given two distinctive diets (one high in carbs and one high in protein) and provided with a standard facial cleaner, the group with the high protein diet has twice as little acne after 12 weeks than the one that ate a diet rich in carbohydrates. Researchers believe that an excess of carbs increases the insulin in the body which can cause inflammation and breakouts in the skin. It is recommended that you have a diet balanced with high amounts of protein, whole grains, fruits, vegetables and carbs so that your insulin levels stay properly balanced.

Too Much Dairy: sudden acne breakout in adult

A research study published in the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology involving a polling of teenage and young adult men found that those who had two or more servings of dairy a day had a higher likelihood of a breakout that those who had dairy only occasionally. Dairy such as milk contain ingredients such as insulin growth factor 1 which can increase oil output in glands and clog the pores through changes in the natural hormone balance. If you eat or drink a lot of dairy and suffer from breakouts you might consider alternate products such as almond milk, soy based dairy products, etc.
