You’ve probably seen those advertising campaigns and slogans in the past, promoting milk and other dairy products for their various health related benefits like muscle gain, and to be perfectly honest, they’re exactly right. Dairy can be a healthy alternative to a number of different food and drink sources. However, when talking about the health benefits of dairy, it would be foolish and naïve to fail to mention organic dairy as an alternative to regular dairy. Organic dairy milk has a number of health related benefits including those relating to building muscle growth. As far as healthy alternatives go, organic dairy as opposed to regular dairy, is simply a no brainer.
For some strange reason, when people mention high protein foods and drinks, they regularly seem to forget about dairy produce. Dairy produce such as milk or cheese, is extremely rich in protein. As you probably know, protein and the amino acids contained within protein, is vital for the growth, repair, and rejuvenation of muscle tissue inside the human body. Without protein and the amino acids it contains, our muscles simply wouldn’t be able to grow or repair themselves.
The great thing about organic dairy produce, is that it also contains slightly more protein than processed, heat treated dairy produce instead. For the ultimate slow release protein kick, mix up a protein shake with organic milk before bed, and consume. Milk is slower to be digested than water, meaning that the proteins and amino acids will be gradually released into your body throughout the night, thus preventing catabolism (muscle wastage).
Organic diary is just that, organic, with no artificial additives, flavorings or preservatives. So is it is milk good for muscle gain? The short answer is absolutely, it’s fantastic for anybody looking to bulk up and add muscle to their physiques. One of the main health and fitness related benefits however, is the fact that organic dairy is rich in omega 3 fatty acids. These fatty acids are simply vital for the human body, yet many of us simply don’t consume enough. Omega 3 is vital for our brains, our joints, our eyesight, our immune systems, our hearts, our general mental well-being, and protein synthesis, which plays an important role in the growth and repair of muscle tissue.
Another key factor relating to organic dairy, is the fact that it contains more antioxidants than regular diary produce. Antioxidants help our bodies to function more efficiently, as well as helping us to fight off illness and disease. These vitamins and antioxidants help us to become fitter, stronger, and healthier. This in turn makes us stronger and more productive in the gym, which in turn helps us to bulk up and add muscle to our frames much easier than somebody following a poor diet and nutritional plan. milk muscle building muscle growth
